CADEX Race Stem Rounds Out Your Cockpit

With the addition of this new carbon stem, CADEX now has a complete cockpit offering in its Race series component line. The new stem uses a hook & 2-bolt removable faceplate design and a hidden top cap for an integrated look while maintaining component adjustability. This new stem bears the “Race” naming, but don’t toss it aside for road-use-only — it’s rated for gravel and all drop bar disciplines.

CADEX’s new stem offering rounds out its component line-up – in addition to their various ultralight handlebars – and gives riders another slippery option against one-piece bar & stem integrated cockpits. It’s no secret that CADEX wanted to solidify an entire cockpit. And the new Race stem matches their palette and ethos: matte carbon, stiff, and lightweight.

The CADEX Race stem is fully carbon, crafted from T800 and T1100 carbon strands balancing stiffness and weight. The gently curved shape is similar to a few others on the market, offering a slippery front end while keeping bar angle adjustability.

It comes in eight different lengths, starting from 70mm and growing in 10mm increments, ending at a World Tour-ready 140mm length. The stem has a -10-degree angle and is compatible with both 1-¼ and 1-⅛ steerer tubes.

The two pairs of stem & steerer clamp bolts are all titanium, and help keep the CADEX Race stem respectable at 120g (100mm, claimed). The carbon top cap nestles inside the stem, creating a clean-looking combo once you’ve dialed in your fit… not necessarily with a big stack of spacers like this bike, here.

The CADEX Race stem is available at retailers and online in select markets worldwide now.
